OUR STory
#DDBKLOVE – OVER 10 Years in the making
The year was 2005, the beginning of June, when Danielle and David met through mutual friends in an enchanting setting: a Little Caesars Pizzeria in the Union Square neighborhood of Manhattan.
David heard that Danielle was going to a Death Cab For Cutie concert, and felt this was a great way to open conversation with her by asking "Why in the hell would you pay $40 to see them live?!" This rather unflattering question has led the two to still remain in contact to this very day... and here we are, 10+ years later and they have a website about their wedding that you're currently reading.
People have questioned why they waited this long to "tie the knot", but also fail to realize they met at an age when they couldn't even legally drink at bars. Life back then was nothing but buying overpriced textbooks for Organic Chemistry classes and a MacBook Pro with "legally obtained" Adobe programs for design classes. It's been a long time coming, and their lives are at a point where they're ready for the next step in their already established relationship.
